Job summary

A leading global consultancy is seeking an AWS Data Platform Support Engineer for a 6-month contract based in London. The role involves supporting large-scale AWS data platforms within the telecom domain, managing and troubleshooting AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, and S3. The ideal candidate will have strong data pipeline concepts, solid AWS service knowledge, and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. This position offers a hybrid work model with 1-2 days on-site.

  • Support Glue Catalog, Athena, and basic RDS/Redshift.
  • Produce clear documentation and communicate effectively with internal and client stakeholders.

AWS Data Platform Support Engineer - Telecom - Leading Global Consultancy - London - Inside IR35 - 6 Months - Hybrid (1-2 days onsite)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading global consultancy, for an AWS Data Platform Support Engineer to support large-scale AWS data environments within the telecom domain. This is a confirmed 6-month contract, hybrid in London, Inside IR35.

Responsibilities
  • Support and troubleshoot AWS-based data platforms for a leading global consultancy.
  • Perform incident management, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
  • Work with AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, Glue, MSK, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, SQS/SNS, Step Functions.
  • Manage AWS networking: VPC, DNS, route tables, security groups, NACLs, NAT, endpoints.
  • Support Glue Catalog, Athena, and basic RDS/Redshift.
  • Produce clear documentation and communicate effectively with internal and client stakeholders.
