AV Pre-Sales / Post Solution Designer

Are you in search of a new role where you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing team helping to win and deliver large-scale bespoke AV projects for the high-end residential market? We are looking for candidates with at least 4 years of residential AV experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create first-class technical AV presales and post-sales documentation and designs.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of costing and timescales, and their documentation will need to be clear and concise, as it will play an important role in the BID process.

Responsibilities

1. Develop understanding of client requirements.
2. Create a scope of work and a list of dependencies for client approval and sign-off.
3. Prepare Bill of Materials and develop quotes for the sales team.
4. Create conceptual system schematics, AV Positional Layout Drawings, and other necessary drawings for project delivery.
5. Hand over the project to the active design and project management team upon appointment.
6. Support mid-project variation documentation and records.
7. Produce specialist drawings for custom production work as required.
8. Coordinate drawing development with Site Survey results and sales/handover information, including Scope of Works, M&E Requirements, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
9. Provide design support to the sales team for tender proposals, RFIs, and other documentation, including attending post-bid meetings if necessary.
10. Occasionally attend site meetings for project updates.
11. Assist in producing accurate bills of materials for tender responses and Design & Build projects.
12. Monitor industry product trends, changes, and integration challenges.
