Job summary

Job description

Lorien is working with a global technology integrator to find a skilled AV Break-Fix Engineer (Level 2) to join a collaborative team supporting a prestigious financial services site in London. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting AV and VC systems across meeting rooms and event spaces.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Providing technical support for AV/VC systems and live events
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults with AV equipment and control systems
  • Supporting video/audio conferencing setups and remote users
  • Performing preventative maintenance and system checks
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Assisting with AV setups for office relocations and new installations
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong understanding of AV signal flow and control systems (e.g., Crestron)
  • Experience with Cisco VC systems and Microsoft Teams/Teams Rooms
  • Ability to troubleshoot AV issues and implement effective fixes
  • Familiarity with LCD/DLP projector maintenance and AV broadcasting
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to read technical drawings and apply them in real‑world scenarios
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Surface Hubs
  • AV installation experience (preferred but not essential)
