Qualifications

• 1st Level Registered Nurse with HCPC registration.
• Registered Mentor with teaching experience.
• ENB 199 or university equivalents.
• Management and leadership qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and implement evidence-based care.
• Supervise and educate junior staff members.
• Ensure high clinical standards are maintained.
• Work within Urgent Treatment Centres.

Skills

Experience in minor injury/illness and major illness skills

Coaching and mentoring practices

Quality improvement tools and techniques

Education

1st Level Registered Nurse/HCPC Registered/AHP

Diploma in nursing/health related subject

Degree in related nursing studies

Emergency Nurse Practitioner Course or equivalent

Tools

Clinical Skills Qualification or equivalent

Non-Medical prescribing course

ACLS/PALS Course
