Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Technician to join an innovative automation solutions team in Lower End, UK. This role involves onsite maintenance, requiring a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical disciplines. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and knowledge of maintenance functions. The position offers a competitive salary starting at £32,600, with an increase after probation, alongside a structured shift pattern that ensures 6 days off.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to an NVQ / C&G’s / BTEC Level 2 or higher within Engineering in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
• Good knowledge of maintenance functions and an understanding of automation within Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance onsite as part of a larger engineering team.
• Engage in shift work of 2 12hr days and 2 12hr nights.
