Job summary

A leading architectural firm based in Oxford is seeking an Architectural/Surveying AutoCAD Technician. The successful candidate will produce quality 2-Dimension AutoCAD drawings and have a strong understanding of building construction along with UK Building Regulations. This role involves working on historic listed buildings, and the candidate should have a keen interest in heritage architecture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Production of AutoCAD drawings.
• Preparation of planning and listed building applications and submission via the Planning Portal.
• Preparation of Building Regulation applications.
• Developing detailed proposals for kitchen and bathroom layouts, sectional drawings.
• Occasional measured survey work.
• Preparation of door, window, and ironmongery schedules on Excel spreadsheets.

Overview

Architectural/surveying AutoCAD technician. The role is for an architectural/surveying AutoCAD technician. The office is based in the heart of the city of Oxford. The successful candidate should be proficient in producing good quality, 2-Dimension, AutoCAD drawings, possess a good knowledge of building construction and current UK Building Regulations and work well as part of a team. Much of our work is in the centre of Oxford and we have a track record of delivering successful projects involving landmark historic listed buildings. Applicants should have an interest in working within the heritage architecture sector.
