Key Responsibilities
  • Support the auto electricians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of commercial vehicles, including lighting, wiring, sensors, and battery systems.
  • Assist in the installation of new electrical components and the replacement of damaged or outdated parts, such as alternators, starters, and fuses.
  • Help in conducting diagnostic tests using specialised equipment to detect electrical issues and ensure systems are operating efficiently.
  • Assist in the inspection, installation, and repair of wiring and circuitry, ensuring that all connections are secure and compliant with safety standards.
  • Help perform safety checks on electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous experience or interest in automotive or electrical work is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, vehicle maintenance, or auto mechanics is beneficial.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is performed to a high standard.
