Job description

Auto Electricians & Electrical Fitters (Vehicle Electrical Experience Required)

We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians and Vehicle Electrical Fitters to support an exciting project involving the construction of military vehicles for the MOD. This is a long-term opportunity, offered on an initial two-year contract with the potential for extension.

We are looking to hire people with proven experience in vehicle electrical systems and vehicle builds. Candidates with relevant electrical experience from other sectors—such as domestic or marine electrical work—are also encouraged to apply.

You should be able to read and interpret electrical and engineering drawings and be competent in the use of workshop equipment relevant to auto electrics or electrical fitting.

Experience in vehicle production or vehicle build environments is highly desirable, though applicants with transferable electrical experience will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in an electrical discipline
• Armed Forces PO/CPO/NCO with an electrical specialisation
• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification

Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 17:15
