About

We are seeking a time‑served, hands‑on Installation Engineer to deliver high‑quality connected technology solutions in the field. This role involves taking ownership of specialist installations including vehicle tracking, telematics, and CCTV systems, with opportunities to develop further skills in radio communications, Wi‑Fi, and private LTE/5G networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and integrate vehicle systems (tracking, CCTV, telematics)
  • Work across specialist vehicles including aviation ground support, plant, HGVs, and emergency services
  • Conduct site surveys and produce RAMS, wiring diagrams, and as‑built documentation
  • Act as the professional onsite representative in secure and regulated locations
  • Provide fault‑finding, maintenance, and technical support
  • Collaborate with technical, sales, and project teams
Skills & Experience
  • Time‑served engineer with strong auto‑electrical experience
  • Proven hands‑on experience installing tracking, CCTV, and telematics systems
  • Automotive NVQ or equivalent; accredited installer certification desirable
  • Experience working in secure or regulated environments
  • Strong documentation and customer‑facing communication skills
  • Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
