ASD Teaching Assistant Information:
  • For this position you will चुनौती need to be an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant who has worked with young pupils on the Autism spectrum.
  • You will need a strong understanding of the autism spectrum and how to use specific IEP's to provide effective support to this pupil.
  • You will have to be able to keep the pupil focusedettes on their work and be aware of any particular triggers that may cause a behavioural reaction.
  • Should there be a reaction, having a variety of de‑escalating techniques to help control the pupil and the situation.
  • Working with SEN pupils has to be a passion, as everyday will propose different obstacles for you to overcome.
