Job Description

TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is proud to support a fantastic firm of Chartered Accountants based in Sittingbourne in their search for an experienced Audit Senior Manager.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent career prospects for the right candidate. The position primarily focuses on accounts and audit services, with flexibility to tailor responsibilities based on your experience and career aspirations. You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including a significant proportion of corporate businesses across various industries, with turnovers of up to £100+ million, and a wide range of not-for-profit organisations too - schools, academies and charities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality accountancy and audit services to a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
  • Provide expert accountancy advice and support to clients as required.
  • Present final draft accounts to clients in meetings.
  • Lead and manage a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Mentor team members, reviewing their work and promoting prompt, high-quality delivery.
  • Develop the team's skills through tailored training plans and professional development opportunities.
  • Retain and nurture existing client relationships while actively building connections with prospective clients.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent with extensive post-qualification experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing audits for a broad range of clients.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and managing a team.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
