The role involves preparing statutory reports, managing cashflow, and leading audit processes. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting knowledge and excellent communication skills. The position offers a salary between £40,000 and £45,000, alongside benefits like a pension contribution, health cash plan, and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge required.
  • Experience with accounting software and Excel is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities essential.

Responsibilities

  • Produce statutory reports and support year-end accounts.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and compliance returns.
  • Manage cashflow and forecasting.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting for management.
  • Lead external audits and liaise with auditors.

Strong technical accounting knowledge
High level of competency with accounting software and Excel

Education

Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
