Overview

Exciting new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic experienced Auditor. Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager, the role includes leadership responsibility within the team, including leading and managing audit assignments, training and coaching staff, and managing a broad client portfolio to achieve effectiveness and profitability, while maximising new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit teams on assignments.
• Train and coach staff.
• Manage a diverse range of clients, ensuring effective and profitable engagement.
• Maximise new business opportunities.
• Contribute to client portfolio management and profitability.
• As a Practice Accountant, provide an efficient accountancy function for a variety of clients.
• Join an established team and manage the accounts preparation function from manual and computerised records.
• Manage the accounts for limited companies, as well as sole traders and partnerships.
• Complete personal, business and corporation tax returns.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience leading audit teams and in a managerial role; strong technical capabilities.
• The business are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and would consider Senior Accountants seeking a step up into a managerial position.
• Experience with healthcare clients is beneficial but not essential.
