A veterinary practice in Bedford is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join a friendly team. This role is a full‑time position working 31.5 to 34 hours per week. Your working days will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with a mix of full days (8:30‑19:00) and half days (12:30‑19:00). Part‑time hours can be considered.
Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or experience within the veterinary industry is desired but not essential. The salary for this role is £12.21 per hour.
We are a friendly, supportive team with 5 vets, 7 RVNs, 1 VCA, a practice manager, and a great client care team. Our RCVS accredited small animal practice offers x‑ray, ultrasound, an in‑house lab, dentistry, and isolation facilities. We are proud to be a silver cat‑friendly clinic.
We believe in work‑life balance and offer flexible schedules. We have a visiting ophthalmologist, ultrasonographer and a surgeon for orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue procedures. We care about sustainability, using low‑flow anaesthesia, recycling, and repurposing fur clippings. We currently hold Bronze accreditation with Investors in the Environment for Sustainability and are currently working towards Silver accreditation.
