About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic Audio Account Director to join our Advertising team within the GroupM hub. This role will focus on the Essencemediacom patch with equal responsibility for driving both airtime and creative partnership revenues.

Working closely with the Commercial Director, Audio Group Head, Group Client Leads and Creative Strategists you will ensure that the Customer Strategies and Creative Process are implemented effectively.

Location: London Hybrid (2 days in London office)

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver market beating share of airtime and creative revenues.
  • Develop new business and retain existing business across display and creative.
  • Drive brand count across the agency territory improving our conversion rate of creative pitches.
  • Evangelise audio Bauer proposition and positioning our brands and audiences through engagement pieces within the hub agencies.
  • Ensure that our profile and traction with hub agencies is consistent and high quality.
  • Ensure Bauer brands are regularly presented and clearly understood with all new developments communicated.
  • Ensure full understanding of partnership briefs successfully informing our response.
  • Gather insight from agency to deliver best in class creative solutions.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience of working with network media agencies at a mid‑level.
  • Strong contacts across media agencies predominantly in partnership and AV investment teams.
  • Genuine knowledge of and passion for audio and our brands.
  • Strong understanding of the broadcast and digital media marketplace.
  • Experience of creating and landing big ticket sponsorship / partnership deals.
  • Strong understanding of agency trading deals and mechanics.
  • A proven consultative sales approach.
