An educational organization in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic Attendance and Welfare Officer. The successful candidate will support children and their families to ensure consistent school attendance. Responsibilities include working closely with various stakeholders to recognize challenges and provide the necessary support for attendance and welfare. Applicants need a full driving license and access to a vehicle for pupil transport when needed, promoting a caring and inclusive school environment.
The role in a nutshell: We are seeking to recruit an outstanding enthusiastic and dedicated Attendance and Welfare Officer. The ideal candidate will be joining an established Trust Attendance and Welfare Team, supporting children and families in ensuring they are able to attend school every day.
You will be passionate and determined to work with our pupils and families, by offering support and guidance to ensure children can/do attend school every day. Working in collaboration, sharing best practice and supporting the Welfare & Attendance Deputy, Lead, Principals, and stakeholders across the trust ensures our aims are achieved and ultimately provide the best for our children and their families. The Attendance and Welfare Officer has a pivotal role working with each academy, recognising the challenges and providing the necessary support in relation to attendance and welfare.
Must hold a full clean driving licence and have access to a car. Must be willing to transport pupils in their own vehicle when appropriate.
