Responsibilities

  • Private Side role within the Risk Solutions Group with client coverage on Rates, FX, and Commodities.
  • Provide secondary and selected co-coverage to European Corporate clients on derivatives.
  • Responsible for day-to-day implementation of new client onboarding.
  • Provide pricing and solutions to clients on financial products.
  • Ensure good coordination with other areas of Capital Markets.
  • Manage capital, credit, and funding issues in derivatives transactions.
  • Ensure suitable marketing proposals for customers.
  • Manage the life cycle of transactions on the derivatives book.

What is the opportunity?

An exciting opportunity to join as a Associate or Vice President within the Risk Solutions Group. Focus on Continental European Corporate Clients (excluding France).

What will you do?
  • Private Side role within the Risk Solutions Group ("RSG") with client coverage effort on Rates, FX and Commodities
  • To provide secondary and selected co-coverage to RBC European Corporate clients (excluding France) on derivatives
  • Be responsible for day-to-day implementation of new clients onboarding once carefully chosen with senior team members
  • Provide pricing and solutions to RSG clients on Rates, FX and Commodity products.
  • RSG is a multi-asset client facing group.
  • Ensure good coordination with other areas of Capital Markets including DCM, Macro trading (Rates, FX, Commodity), Research, Resource Management Group (RMG), Macro sales, Real Estate Capital Partners, Leverage Finance and Corporate Banking and ensure that your own marketing efforts compliment that of other areas.
  • Ensure that all costs go into product pricing and are passed onto the client were applicable and are correctly recorded. Individuals on the RSG desk are responsible for management of capital, credit and funding issues inherent in the structuring and execution of derivatives transaction.
  • Ensure that marketing proposals are suitable for the customer.
  • Ownership of life cycle of transactions that are placed on the derivatives book and actively manage old exposures as well as generating new exposures.
