About the Opportunity

I’m partnering with a respected, long‑standing civil and structural engineering consultancy that continues to grow across the region. With a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality engineering solutions and a real commitment to staff development, they’re now looking to appoint a Principal or Associate Structural Engineer to help lead their Leeds team.

This is a key senior appointment offering genuine progression, technical leadership responsibilities and the chance to work on a wide portfolio of complex, rewarding projects across commercial, residential, industrial and public‑sector environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and oversee structural engineering design across a range of building types and materials.
  • Provide technical direction, checking and approval of drawings, calculations, designs and specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, buildable design solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop technical capability and confidence.
  • Act as a client‑facing lead engineer, strengthening relationships and ensuring repeat business.
  • Contribute to bids, proposals, fee development and wider business growth initiatives.
  • Take a lead role in project management—programme, quality, risk and delivery oversight.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng).
