What’s On Offer

  • Opportunity to progress towards Director level within a supportive and ambitious consultancy.
  • A chance to work on a wide variety of technically challenging and high-profile regional projects.
  • Direct involvement in business development and strategy, not just design delivery.
  • Support with professional development, including chartership mentoring and CPD opportunities.
  • A positive and collaborative office culture with regular team events and social activities.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Strong technical design experience across a variety of structural materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry).
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, MasterSeries, Robot).
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including client liaison and team coordination.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of budgets, fees, and business development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to the growth of the business.
  • Chartered or near-Chartered status (IStructE or ICE preferred).
  • MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
