Job description

We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking a mid-level Associate Solicitor to join their Competition practice within their London office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join an esteemed Competition team, advising clients on a wide range of competition and regulatory matters. The candidate’s duties will encompass transactions, such as merger control, NSIA / FDI and FSR issues, antitrust investigations, distribution and compliance, state aid, and competition litigation.

The candidate support clients on all aspects of competition law, focusing on UK and EU competition legislation. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with the firm’s international client base.

Essential Criteria
  • 3-5 PQE;
  • Strong background in UK and / or EU competition law matters, including transactions;
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
  • Outstanding academics;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to become involved in business development;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
