Overview

Adult Cardiorespiratory Enhanced and Responsive Service (ACERS) Associate Respiratory Physiotherapist Band 6

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist interested in long term respiratory care to join the award winning ACERS Service based within Hackney.

Responsibilities
  • Work across a 7 day service, providing respiratory clinical experience across both acute and community settings.
  • May supervise other members of the team.
  • Be involved with ACERS Respiratory Service as part of the Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation service, ACERS Respiratory Physiotherapy Service and the Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual Ward Team.
  • Develop quality improvement and service development skills and contribute to service development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Ideally band 6 level experience with patients with chronic respiratory disease and in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative.

Support with Continual Professional Development (CPPD) and flexible working arrangements where possible. You will be supported by the Respiratory Team, including the Respiratory Lead and Cardiorespiratory Consultant Physiotherapist.
