This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step into an Associate level position within a business that values autonomy, trust and collaboration.

The Company

This independent consultancy has built a strong reputation for its meticulous cost management, integrity, and client-focused approach. Despite being a small, close-knit team, they've already secured a robust pipeline of projects for the next 18 months - a clear reflection of their quality and reputation across sectors such as commercial, residential, and mixed-use development.

Their culture is open, modern, and ambitious - blending the professionalism of a well-established consultancy with the dynamism and personal touch of a growing firm.

The Role

As Associate Quantity Surveyor, you'll:

  • Lead the cost management and commercial delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide detailed cost planning, procurement advice, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Take responsibility for client liaison and stakeholder communication, ensuring high levels of service and commercial control.
  • Offer mentorship and support to junior team members as the company continues to grow.
  • Work closely with the Directors to help shape the future direction of the business.
About You
  • MRICS or working towards Chartership, with a strong background in private practice cost consultancy.
  • Experience across a range of sectors, ideally with exposure to both pre and post-contract duties.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation and reporting skills.
  • Confident in managing client relationships and working independently when needed.
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset - someone who enjoys the energy of a growing business.
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary in the region of 65,000 - 85,000, depending on experience.
  • A genuine opportunity to help shape and grow with an expanding consultancy.
  • Excellent long-term prospects as the business continues to develop.
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture and flexible working arrangements.

If you're an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a move where your impact will be felt, this is an opportunity to join a business with a bright future - one that's growing sustainably and investing in its people.
