Job description
What will you be doing

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Portfolio Management team in London delivering the firm's asset allocation views in a client tailored way to a large and varied group of clients. Working within the Scottish Portfolio Management team to deliver an excellent level of service to the region's Investment Managers and the clients of the firm. You will have high exposure and work in partnership with the Investment Managers within the region.

Responsibilities
  • The day-to-day management of a bank of client portfolios to ensure they remain within compliant parameters in terms of asset allocation, risk budgets and portfolio construction
  • To input into the Scottish Portfolio Management team’s investment process and investment selection for target portfolios
  • To work in partnership with the Investment Managers within the region to increase their confidence in the team and as a result increase the funds under management of the team
Qualifications & Experience
  • Possess a confident professional and pragmatic approach to all duties
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and IT literate
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Positive / flexible attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Initiative – use judgement and reasoning to propose solutions to problems
  • A quick thinker who can adapt to changing work demands
  • Attention to detail

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • CISI Level 4 qualification and completed or working towards a Level 7 qualification
  • Experience and knowledge of investments and the management of client portfolios
