Overview

I am seeking an Associate Director Project Manager to work for a firm of PQS / construction consultants in Tyne & Wear. They are working on projects across most sectors for the built environment including data centres, offices, hotels, stadia, residential, masterplanning and more. You will be involved in all aspects of projects from inception to completion and you will support the growth of the business in the North East.

Company

My client is a busy long established firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent, Project Management etc. for projects both in the UK and abroad. They have offices across the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities
  • Be involved in all aspects of projects from inception to completion and support business growth in the North East.
  • Take full ownership of projects and manage all stages of the project lifecycle, including site acquisition and due diligence, brief, project controls, design management, procurement, programme and construction logistics, contract administration through to completion and handover.
  • Provide leadership, manage and mentor less experienced team members, and maintain excellent client-facing and organisational skills.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications
  • At least 6 years or more of experience working as a Project Manager in the UK.
  • Ideally MRICS / MAPM qualified and have a BSc in a construction related subject.
  • Ability to work on several projects concurrently with strong ownership of project outcomes.
  • Stable work record and excellent spoken and written English.
  • Ambitious to progress in your career with the right company.
