Job description
Overview

I am looking for a motivated and inspiring leader to take on the role of Associate Director of people for Good Hope Hospital. This is a great opportunity to help shape our people strategy, support our leaders and ensure staff have the best possible experience at work. You'll play a key role driving inclusion, engagement, workforce development as well as overseeing and investigating complex employee relations cases where lessons need to be learnt. Contribute to Group-wide People strategies and represent the Hospital Site at relevant forums.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on the development and implementation of Hospital workforce plans.
  • Effectively tailor and deploy the agreed Group strategies to support the Hospital and Group to become a great place to work.
  • Enable People, Quality and Inclusion strategies, with an emphasis on staff and patient-led improvements for high engagement and sustainability.
  • Working in close collaboration with Occupational Health and well being, promote and support staff well being within the Hospital.
  • Work closely with other Hospital Associate Directors of People and Hospital leaders to introduce new, flexible roles and ways of working, putting workforce redesign at the heart of service transformation.
  • Lead the effective development of leadership and people management capability across the Hospital, so that staff are recruited, inducted, cared for, appropriately managed, effectively deployed, retained, developed professionally and their concerns elicited and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Trust policy and ensure excellent implementation.
