Overview

Are you a strategic leader ready to own the customer experience and drive growth across international markets?

We’re looking for a dynamic Associate Director of International Catalog Merchandising (UK, Ireland, Canada) to play a critical role in driving sustainable growth and bottom-line impact. You’ll shape our product and class merchandising strategies, lead localisation initiatives, and deliver a customer experience that is culturally relevant and commercially impactful.

Salary: The base salary for this position is £121,000 – £134,250 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for annual equity grants subject to Board approval and company performance. Typical grant ranges vary by level and may significantly impact total compensation. For this position, equity could range from £78,714 to £100,333 subject to final approval by the company’s Board of Directors. Equity awards are not guaranteed, and the value of any equity award at the time of grant may fluctuate based on the company’s stock price and the grant date valuation.

What you will do

Customer Experience & Merchandising Strategy

  • Design and implement a product and category merchandising strategy that balances customer value, supplier input, and technological requirements across international markets.

Localisation & Translation Excellence

  • Oversee localisation and translation processes, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance across both on-site and supplier-facing content.

Problem Solving & Analytics

  • Use your analytical toolkit to uncover insights and solve complex, ambiguous business challenges related to customer engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Category Management, Global Catalog Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Analytics to align and execute strategies and improve tools and processes.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor, guide, and develop a high-performing team of 10–15 merchandising and localisation specialists, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.

Who you will be

A commercially minded operator with strong business acumen, you understand how merchandising, site experience, and localisation drive customer behaviour, supplier performance, and overall business outcomes. You thrive in ambiguity, excel at solving complex problems, and inspire teams to deliver meaningful results.

What you will have

Essential

  • Proven experience in e-commerce, consumer tech, or a similarly quantitative and strategic field, with a focus on international markets (digital merchandising experience a plus).
  • Ability to work with and interpret large datasets to develop and influence commercial and merchandising strategy.
  • Strong business intuition and the ability to translate data into strategic action.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence working across all levels including senior executives.
