Responsibilities
  • Manage cross-asset change activities and initiatives on behalf of IM, ensuring appropriate communication, structure and coordination across all stakeholders, delivering consistency across asset classes and globally

  • Work closely with IM team leads, first line Risk Support, GC functions and Audit to ensure all outstanding RCSA, risk event, thematic review or audit action points are addressed and closed out within agreed timelines
  • Participate in change programmes to support implementation within Investment Management teams, including as part of the Investment Capability Strategy
  • Support the decision-making framework as well as the oversight & governance activities within Investment Management, in close collaboration with IM team leads, distribution, operations, technology, first line risk support and GC teams
  • Experience of working with IM teams in asset management with strong knowledge of front office processes and support requirements
  • Ability to bring SMEs across different business lines to work towards a common goal, demonstrate managing multiple priorities and identifying when to pivot focus
  • The ability to understand and anticipate potential front-to-back implications of change, whether regulatory, BAU or risk related
  • Strong understanding of the trade life cycle and the ability to anticipate issues regarding liquidity & capacity management
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple IM departments to deliver on change activities
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, demonstrated by significant experience interacting and presenting to senior stakeholders across IM and other departments with the ability to challenge and influence at senior levels
  • Demonstrated ability to pick up a variety of new subject areas or initiatives, develop expertise and content ownership and work with key stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions
  • Significant experience working in a fast-paced global organisation across multiple locations and jurisdictions
  • A strong desire to learn and be comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast changing environment
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure yet identify gaps where the role and function can add value
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical solutions to business challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to be both strategic and hands-on - must be "can do" and pragmatic
