My client is a privately-owned engineering and environmental multi-disciplinary consultancy operating nationally from three offices. They serve both private and public sector clients in sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, education and healthcare. Your new role

Their Geo team provides comprehensive services from pre-planning appraisals to remediation and validation, including:

  • Ground investigation (Phase I & II)
  • Contaminated land appraisal
  • Geotechnical design
  • Legacy mining stability assessments
  • Remediation strategies and validation
  • Material management and waste classification
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across investigations and reporting.
  • Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff and support team growth.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Review and approve technical reports.
What you\'ll need to succeed
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Chartered status (or working towards) with a relevant professional body.
  • Proven experience in contaminated land and geotechnical consultancy.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to win work.
What you\'ll get in return
  • Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
  • 37.5 hours working week Monday to Friday (part-time options available)
  • 25 days annual leave (Increasing for 2, 5 & 10 years of service)
