We are seeking a Senior GenAI / ML delivery lead for large UK clients. You will be instrumental in leading the design, development and day-to-day product management of GenAI/ML solutions for some of the UK''s largest financial services companies.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional AI project teams, overseeing all aspects of project delivery from initiation to deployment and ongoing support.
• Technical Expertise & Solution Design: Provide deep technical expertise in Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies, designing innovative solutions that help meet strategic business objectives.
• Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, effectively communicating progress, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance to the team, ensuring the development of high-quality AI solutions that meet client requirements.
• Team Management: Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Business Development: Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, identifying new opportunities, and presenting AI solutions to potential clients.
• Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI, contributing to Deloitte''s thought leadership and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience delivering production-ready AI/ML/LLM solutions, including model training, optimization, and deployment. Specific project examples required.
• Generative AI expertise: Experience leading the delivery of AI and LLMs in the financial services industry, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), GraphRAG, query expansion, map reduce, maximum marginal relevance retrieval, and other GenAI techniques.
• Cloud platform familiarity (minimum of 1): AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, etc.), Azure (OpenAI Service, ML, Cognitive Services), or GCP (Vertex AI, Generative AI Studio, etc.).
• Proficiency in data engineering (ETL, data warehousing, big data technologies) with experience in data quality, governance, and security in financial services.
• Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience delivering AI solutions with a proven track record of leading and managing technical teams; deep experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; client-facing consulting experience is highly desirable.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Azure AI Engineer Associate, PMP) are a plus.
