Overview

An opportunity to join a market-leading, independent firm specialising in fire safety renowned for their technical excellence and innovative approach. This role is for a diligent Associate Fire Engineer, skilled in both technical design and delivery, to represent them based out of their active Manchester office.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of fire engineering strategies for a variety of building types.
  • Oversee and contribute to CFD modelling, evacuation analysis, and smoke control design.
  • Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth.
  • Prepare, review, and approve high-quality technical reports and documentation.
  • Ensure all projects meet legal, safety, and quality standards.
About the Associate Fire Engineer
  • Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in fire safety design and relevant UK legislation.
  • Proven track record managing fire engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers.
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it is desirable.
