Associate Director / Senior Architect, Exeter £45k - £60k DOE

Rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Architect to join a company of 40+. You will be based in their regional office of Exeter where there will be a small team working on a range of projects to include sports & Leisure, residential, education and retirement living.

The opportunity would suit an Associate level or experienced Architect looking for the next step in their career. You will be ambitious with great design abilities and would lead and grow the team, support business development and work winning/bidding within the local area.

Depending on your current level of experience, you would eventually be associate director for the Exeter office.

The Role
  • Running project from start to finish, managing the overall design process within the RIBA work stages
  • Co-ordinating a design team, working with Product Designers in-house and external construction professionals
  • Complete site visits to check on progress and budget
  • Liaise with the client and external consultants, attending design team meetings, managing collaborative communication streams and ensuring that the design projects are on schedule
  • Working closely with the Associate Directors to deliver projects on time
  • Business development to include networking in the local area and winning work
  • Leading, managing and growing a small team
The Candidate
  • Fully qualified architect with UK based experience
  • Good working knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Client focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical abilities
  • The ability / willingness to deliver projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit would be preferred however other 3D Software experience would still be considered
