A leading premium spirits company is seeking an Associate Brand Manager for a 12-month assignment within their Global Travel Retail division. The role focuses on developing brand strategies for their Emerging Spirits portfolio and involves hands-on marketing execution, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and tracking brand performance. The GTR ABM supports both long-term brand-building and short-term executional excellence on a global scale, leveraging the power of GTR to build meaningful brand & business growth. The role will be a passionate champion of the emerging spirits brands and of GTR; engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders alike. This 12-month assignment is a high-intensity learning opportunity while driving impact across a diverse, international landscape.”
The GTR ABM supports the GTR Global Marketing Manager (GMM) with the development and execution of brand & business plans, and the delivery of key initiatives across the marketing mix and the breadth of GTR for our Emerging Spirits portfolio. The Emerging Spirits portfolio is composed of priority brands Gin Mare & Diplomatico, and the Tequila portfolio focusing on Americas, as well as Fords Gin & Chambord Liqueur.
Supports the GMM in development of brand strategies, delivering long term brand growth in line with the global brand and GTR business ambitions.
Contributes to the annual brand planning process, resulting in a clear and concise plans anchored in consumer insights
Executes key elements of the annual brand plans working closely with the GTR GMM, the commercial, customer marketing and finance teams, as well as with agency partners.
Contributes to and encourages the setting, measurement and evaluation of rigorous KPIs for brand activities, identifying opportunities for further focus and/or course-correction where necessary.
Champion the brand, partner with Customer Marketing & Commercial teams to ensure retail activations are executed to a high standard, providing ongoing feedback and guidance
Champions the GTR Brand Toolkits, leads & briefs adaptations of global creative assets or toolkit adaptations for GTR as required, working with external agency partners and/or the B-F Content Studio
Leads implementation of Customer Media plans with key GTR customers, collaborating with the Customer Marketing & Commercial teams to leverage key touchpoints in customer media ecosystems
Develops the Trade Show and Customer Meetings content for their brands
Becomes familiar with the related Emerging Brands GTR P&Ls, understanding the different drivers/levers and supporting the GTR GMM, Commercial and Finance/RGM teams to identify, evaluate and action areas for performance improvement.
Partners with Insights and cross-functional GTR teams to track brand performance vs agreed KPIs and the GTR annual Learning Agenda. Contributes to regular performance reviews, identifying opportunities for further focus and/or course-correction where necessary.
Ensures seamless management of PO and invoicing processes and on budget management and timely tracking of A&P budgets
Provide for constructive cross-functional collaboration, ensure smooth interaction with other departments and partners.
Act as a role model of B-F values and culture, create diverse and inclusive environment
BA in Marketing/other business-related functions.
Experience in Marketing or related brand/business experience.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to build collaborative and productive partnerships with colleagues and partners.
Well-organised: ability to manage simultaneous projects on-time and on-budget.
A proactive self-starter, able to prioritise, and comfortable working both independently and in a team environment. Able to be flexible in changing environments, responding positively to new challenges.
Experience in GTR and/or retail would be an advantage, as well as communications and digital
Experience with managing external agency partners.
