Regional Health & Safety Lead

Oasis Community Learning – a leading education provider committed to inclusion, equality, and high standards across its academies.

Overview

As a source of expert health and safety advice, you will provide essential guidance and support to academies and national colleagues, helping them meet their health and safety responsibilities. This role may be remote or based at our National Office, with frequent travel to academies and external meetings. The region covers London, Southampton and Bristol.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert health and safety advice to academies and national colleagues.
  • Support the National H&S Lead to provide an exceptional health and safety service.
  • Maintain the health and safety management system resources.
  • Provide visible support and effective delivery through frequent travel to academies and external engagements.
  • Coach, mentor and deliver training to staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in operational health and safety management.
  • Sound understanding of health, safety and wellbeing in the education sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and deliver training.
  • Certified member of IOSH (or working towards).
  • Confident user of ICT.
  • UK driving licence and own car.
Benefits & Salary
  • Salary up to £40,000.
  • Package including travel.
  • Generous holiday allowance of 25+8 days per annum, rising to 30+8 after two years.
