About the role

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of warehouse operations and managing the performance of your team. As the successful candidate, you will be working closely with your Operations Manager and Supervisors to ensure we deliver outstanding service to our customers while exceeding KPIs. Your leadership will be instrumental in helping to shape a culture that promotes safety, performance, and a positive workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse KPIs to ensure consistent success.
  • Prioritise and enforce health and safety practices to ensure a secure and compliant working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager, customer service, drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth receipt and delivery processes.
  • Foster a fast‑paced yet organised environment, driving performance and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop your team, ensuring staff engagement and growth.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and support to build a high performing team.
About you, skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will require a responsible sense of purpose and objectives have:

  • Warehouse supervisor role experience with a firm knowledge of distribution.
  • Management of team KPIs to ensure the teams meet or exceed targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Vigilant around health and safety practices within the warehouse
  • Concise communication, working closely with the Operations Manager, customer service team, drivers & warehouse staff to ensure customer delivery requirements and incoming receipt requirements are met.
  • Confident in being able to manage a fast‑moving environment.
  • Outstanding people skills, including a genuine interest in developing their people.
  • Be team orientated, having a sense of purpose, respecting safety and providing feedback to ensure staff performance.
