A local council in Great Waltham is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Swimming Instructor to join the swimming team at South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre. This part-time role, offering 5 hours per week, involves ensuring the health and safety of swimmers in the learn-to-swim programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and self‑motivated individual to work as part of our swimming team at South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre.
The successful applicant must be a confident communicator and have excellent customer‑care skills, and will be responsible for the health and safety of members of the learn‑to‑swim programme.
The centre is a large, multi‑purpose complex accommodating a swimming pool, sports hall, two additional halls, fitness room, astro turf, multi‑use games area and climbing wall.
This role is advertised as 5 hours per week. It is an annualised hours contract paid over 52 weeks. If sufficient applications are received prior to the closing date, the role may be closed for applications early.
