About the Role

As Assistant Store Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Leader to deliver a world class customer experience. You’ll help ensure the store runs smoothly, the team is energised and well supported, and that Dyson stands out within the premium Bicester Village environment.

The Assistant Store Leader is a key member of the store leadership team. In the fast paced, tourism driven retail landscape of Bicester Village, you’ll help guide the team to deliver outstanding service while maintaining operational excellence.

Your role blends leadership, coaching, and hands on retail skills—ensuring the team brings Dyson technology to life in a way that meets the expectations of visitors from around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Leader in motivating, developing, and inspiring the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, demonstrating premium service standards and coaching others to do the same.
  • Assist with onboarding, ongoing training, and performance conversations to support team capability and confidence.
  • Champion Dyson’s high customer service standards, ensuring every visitor receives a premium, personalised experience aligned with Bicester Village expectations.
  • Step in to resolve customer queries and escalations with professionalism and confidence.
  • Recognise opportunities to elevate service for international visitors, VIP guests, and customers with limited time.
  • Support thePrep store’s daily operations, including rotas, compliance, store standards, and reporting.
  • Maintain exceptional visual presentation, upholding the high aesthetic standards expected within Bicester Village.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels accurately, anticipating fluctuations driven by tourism and high traffic periods.
  • Help drive the store’s commercial success through strong product demonstrations and coaching the team on sales techniques.
  • Understand and interpret store KPIs, using data insights to support team performance and identify opportunities.
  • Support the execution of promotional activities and village wide retail initiatives.
  • Build effective working relationships with the Dyson Retail Team, Visual Merchandising, and Bicester Village partners.
