Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Shift Team Leader for a fixed-term role at an Energy from Waste Power station in Dundee, Scotland. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. A strong understanding of H&S regulations, relevant experience in a power station, and technical qualifications are required. The offer includes a salary of up to GBP46,000, depending on experience, plus other benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must have an understanding of current environmental & H&S rules & regulations.
  • Experience of process operations in a power station or similar.
  • IOSH or other H&S Qualification is required.
  • A technical, electrical, mechanical or marine engineering qualification is advantageous.
  • A valid UK driving licence is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Support the STL to operate & improve the facility.
  • Assist in the provision of reports & analysis of KPIs.
  • Monitor consumables.
  • Perform other duties as required.

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Shift Team Leader to work on a 1-year fixed term contract. Working in an Energy from Waste Power station, this role will involve assisting the Shift Team Leader in ensuring the safe, compliant & efficient operation of the plant.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the STL to operate & improve the facility
  • Assisting in the provision of reports & analysis of KPIs
  • Monitoring consumables
  • Other duties as required
