Qualifications

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or working towards).
  • Some experience in a QS or commercial role in the construction industry (1–3 years preferred).
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office; knowledge of construction software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with budgets, cost plans, and project forecasts.
  • Support contract preparation and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Help manage valuations, payment applications, and contract variations.
  • Maintain accurate cost records and reporting to control project finances.
  • Monitor progress and commercial performance on-site.
  • Assist in risk assessment, claims, and dispute management.
