Main purpose of the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Scotland region. The main base will be from our regional head office in Glasgow, and due to the nature of the role it will involve some travel throughout the region. The successful candidate will work as part of the support the Commercial Team; surveying activities on a number of standard developments from the initial procurement phase through to final account in full compliance with the companies policies and procedures.

  • The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be involved in the below activity:
  • Compiling documentation such as site start budgets
  • Producing various reports and schedules
  • Facilitating the payment of subcontractors
  • Monitoring and control of variations and customer extras and filing
  • Maintains effective communication and delivers positive outcomes for external and internal customers
Skills, Knowledge, Experience

The successful candidate will either be working towards or hold the relevant industry requirements; RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
