We’re partnering with a respected cost & project management consultancy renowned for its quality, collaborative culture and innovative approach. They deliver high-profile schemes across multiple sectors, with a strong current pipeline in Retail and Education.

This role is ideal for an Assistant QS with around 1–4 years’ experience (placement year welcome) who is keen to develop across both pre- and post-contract, progress toward chartership, and gain exposure to a variety of clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost planning, estimating, and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare BoQs, tender documentation, and carry out measurement.
  • Support procurement processes and contract administration.
  • Contribute to project reporting, cost control, and risk/value management.
  • Attend site and client meetings alongside senior colleagues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
  • Some experience in a consultancy or client-side environment.
  • Enthusiasm to progress through APC to chartership.
  • Strong numeracy, communication, and attention to detail.
