Trauma Workstream Overview

NHS Borders Psychology service invites applications for an Assistant Psychologist to work in our trauma workstream. The workstream includes multi‑agency representation from NHS Borders, Scottish Borders Council, 3rd sector partners, and people with lived experience of trauma. The post focuses on developing trauma‑informed services and trauma‑responsive workforces.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of trauma‑informed services and trauma‑responsive workforces.
  • Provide support to stakeholders within the Integrated Psychological Trauma Steering Group, including those with lived experience of trauma.
  • Assist with training, outcomes evaluation and project delivery.
Location and Working Hours

The post operates across the Borders, with in‑person work and travel. Remote working may be possible. The role is part‑time, pro‑rata salary.
