A prominent healthcare provider in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to contribute to psychological interventions in community mental health teams. The role requires collaboration with various professionals and involves supporting service evaluations. Applicants must be prepared for an Enhanced DBS check, which will be covered. The role will involve contributing to the provision of psychological interventions (1:1 and group-based) to clients within the community mental health teams, under the supervision of Clinical Psychologist(s). The post will require someone with a willingness to work alongside colleagues from other professions that form the MDT, whilst representing psychology as a unique contribution to the service. The role will also involve supporting the evaluation of the service through audits. An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to work across the community mental health teams, within the Adult Psychology Service. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
