Overview

BCUHB North Wales is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000 across North Wales. An opportunity has arisen to recruit an Assistant Practitioner in the Anglesey Locality. This is a new role within the district nursing team.

The district nursing team support and care for those living in the community. This post is an enhanced role which will require a prior set of skills as described in the personal specification.

Responsibilities
  • Work within the district nursing team to support and provide care to patients living in the community in Anglesey Locality.
  • Travel between patients' homes within towns and rural areas in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Foundation Degree in Healthcare Practice (level 4) is an essential qualification to be considered for the role.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
  • Applications may be submitted in Welsh. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
