About The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Podcast Producer to support the delivery of multiple podcasts within Socially Powerfuls growing podcast team. This is an ideal role for someone early in their audio career who is highly organised, creatively curious and excited to learn every stage of podcast production in a fast‑paced, social‑first environment.

You’ll work closely with Producers, hosts and cross‑functional teams to help turn ideas into well‑produced episodes, gain hands‑on studio experience and develop a strong understanding of how podcasts grow across platforms.

What you'll do
  • Support the full production cycle across multiple podcasts, including research, planning, guest booking, scripting support, recording assistance, edit notes and publishing
  • Assist in running studio and remote recordings, welcoming guests and supporting hosts and crew to ensure sessions run smoothly
  • Help develop loose ideas into structured episode plans, cold opens and recurring segments aligned with each shows strategy
  • Coordinate with editors, designers and social teams to ensure briefs, assets and timestamps are clear and delivered on time
  • Maintain production calendars, track episode status and share regular updates with stakeholders
  • Pull topline performance analytics, flag whats working and support testing of new formats, titles and packaging
What You’ll Bring
  • Some hands‑on experience assisting with podcast or audio production, either in a professional role or through strong personal projects
  • Good content planning and research skills, with the ability to draft outlines, question lists or show notes
  • Comfort in a studio environment, with clear communication skills when working with talent and guests
  • Basic understanding of video production workflows, alongside audio production. E.g - make basic cuts to a master timeline, using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Highly organised, reliable and able to juggle multiple tasks across multiple shows
  • Curiosity about podcast trends, creator culture and how shows grow across platforms
Desirable
  • Experience in a social, influencer or media environment, even at internship or placement level
  • Interest in podcast marketing, including titles, thumbnails and short‑form clips that drive discovery and growth
  • Relevant study in Media Production, Journalism, Communications or an equivalent portfolio of work
