Assistant Nursery Manager
Location: Telford
Hours: Term time + 1 week, 37hrs

Are you passionate about early years education and ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Nursery Manager to help lead our vibrant, child‑centred Nursery.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Support the Nursery Manager with day‑to‑day operations and staff leadership
  • Help create a safe, welcoming and inspiring learning environment for children
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies
  • Champion high‑quality learning experiences rooted in EYFS principles
  • Support staff development and promote best practice across the team
  • Contribute to assessment, planning, organisation and safeguarding

Quals and experience:

  • Level 3 teaching assistant qualification
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience of planning, preparing and delivering an EYFS curriculum
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant policies/ codes of practice
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and resilience and the ability to relate to children
  • A willingness to learn and evaluate own practice and learn from others
