Position Overview

We’re looking for a confident and driven Assistant Manager to help support the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. You’ll take on a leadership role, supporting and motivating the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high operational standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to step up and grow their career in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Open and close the venue in line with company procedures, including cashing up and securing the premises
  • Lead and develop front-of-house staff, providing training and ongoing support
  • Manage floor operations during service, maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure consistent service and communication
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
  • Support with administrative tasks including rota management, health & safety, and compliance
  • Drive sales through upselling and promotion of specials and events
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and effectively resolve any issues
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a busy hospitality environment
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and team leadership
  • Confident, approachable, and able to lead by example
