Job summary

A dynamic recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their expanding team. This hybrid role requires working two days in the office and three from home, maintaining a schedule from 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience in profit and loss reviews, and good communication abilities. Qualifications

  • Complete month-end profit and loss balance sheet reviews.
  • Handle inter-company billing and monthly sales invoices.
  • Prepare payment runs and plan cash flow.

Assistant Management Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their team as an enthusiastic and dedicated member. The company is continuously growing with market trends and requires a candidate who is keen to support the company in reaching its goals.

Working hybrid, two days in the office and 3 from home this position will consist of 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday based near Woburn. Offering £30,000-£35,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Complete profit and loss balance sheet month end reviews.
  • Inter-company billing.
  • Monthly sales invoices.
  • Prepare payment runs.
  • Cashflow planning.
  • Present reports collated from monthly reviews.
  • VAT Returns.
  • Year-end closing liaising with appointed accountant.
  • Customer billing and reconciliation.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
  • AAT Level 3 or qualified by experience.
  • Previous work experience within a similar role.
  • Strong computer skills and software experience with Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Xero including being able to complete VLOOKUP and PIVOT tables in Excel.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Driver’s licence and access to won transport due to location.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Work well on your own initiative but also being a positive ‘can-do’ attitude to teamwork.
