A regional education provider is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Job Coach in Wakefield to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will help develop their workplace skills, facilitate learning, and secure work placements with local employers. The ideal candidate will have relevant GCSE qualifications and experience working with young people with learning difficulties. Hours: 18.5 hours per week, term time only, 40 weeks per year
Salary: £12,386 to £13,140 per annum (£26,967 to £28,609 FTE)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Job Coach to join our Foundation Learning Department supporting learners with SEND to gain the skills they need for employment.
As an Assistant Job Coach, you will confidently support our learners both in and out of the classroom, to develop the skills and knowledge that they need to enter the world of work. Working with local employers, you will source exciting work placement opportunities and support the learners to demonstrate that they can complete tasks and meet the expectations of the employer.
