Job description

Overview

This is an exciting fixed‑term contract opportunity working within the Central HR Team to provide high‑quality, operational support to the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to Headteachers, School Business Managers, and the Central Team on a wide range of HR issues, including contracts, payroll, safeguarding, change management, performance, absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, and more.
• Work from the Central Team office three days per week and from home two days per week, with regular visits to individual schools in North Somerset and Bath & North East Somerset.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified.
• Minimum of two years recent HR operational experience, ideally in a MAT or school setting.

Background

The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi‑Academy Trust that has experienced rapid growth since 2016, currently operating 30 schools across infant, junior, primary, and secondary phases. The Trust includes both non‑denominational and Church of England schools.
