Erdington Academy is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Head of Year to join its pastoral team. Joining a well-led and motivated team committed to continuous improvement, you will:

Responsibilities
  • Set high expectations which motivate and challenge students in a productive learning environment
  • Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Provide pastoral care: foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting student wellbeing and resilience
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour policies, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, fostering strong home-school partnerships
  • Fulfil wider professional responsibilities with high standards of personal and professional conduct
